We are aware that during our upcoming Term Three students need a few extra layers to keep warm. Can I suggest that students wear layers underneath the College shirt (e.g. long-sleeved shirts or thermals). This is also a suggestion for underneath the HPE top in Years 7-9 on days when students have HPE. The navy rain jacket may be worn to and from school when it is raining.
Navy Trousers: All students wearing navy trousers to school must wear the ones that are on sale at the Uniform shop. These pants have a navy emblem embroidered just below the waist band. A reminder to all families that the College Winter uniform is navy pants, not shorts.
The upcoming school holidays are a great time to have the College Blazer dry cleaned, polish the school shoes, and do a general check of the College Uniform.
In addition to wet weather arrangements, the College opens up a number of areas at lunch time so that students can stay out of the cold. These areas are: the Library, Phoenix Hub (for games), P Block Corridor, and F302.
The Basketball courts will be out of action for all of Term Three and, as such, we will be allowing specific year levels access to the stadium at lunch in order to keep active.
The following days have been put aside for different year levels:
Monday and Friday: Year 11, 9, and 7
Wednesday and Thursday: Year 12, 10 and 8.
Tuesdays: Table Tennis in the Ballroom
These venues will be supervised by staff.
SAT Activities - Student Action Teams (SAT) will also be hosting a variety of activities in Term Three to promote their specific SAT, and encourage student involvement and sense of community – watch out for the upcoming Term Three events!
